Who we are

Watzaura Infotech Pty Limited (ABN 32 702 553 857, ACN 702 553 857) is an Australian company based in Melbourne, Victoria. We operate this website, watzaura.com, and we make Arenzo: a software platform that sports academies use to run their programs, and the Arenzo mobile app for iPhone and Android. Academies subscribe to Arenzo; we provide it to them and to the families, athletes and staff they invite.

The Elite One Cricket app is Elite Cricket Academy’s edition of the Arenzo mobile app, and this policy covers it.

This policy explains how we handle personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, and, where it applies, other privacy law such as the GDPR and India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023.

You can contact us about privacy at hello@watzaura.com or on +61 452 551 758.

What we collect

watzaura.com does not use cookies and does not show advertising. Like any web server, ours records ordinary server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, time); those logs are kept for a short period for security and are not used to identify or profile you.

To see which pages people read and how they found us, each page also sends a single request to Metricool, our web analytics and social media provider. That request carries the address of the page, the size of your browser window and the page you came from, and, like any request on the internet, your IP address and browser type. Metricool does not set cookies on this site, and we use what it reports only as totals (visits, pages, referring sites), never to identify you or follow you to other sites.

If you request early access, we collect what you enter in that form: your email address, your organisation, your role, your country and the time you submitted it. We also record the IP address the request came from, to limit abuse of the form.

If you book a demo, the booking calendar is provided by Cal.com, Inc. and loads only when you choose to see available times. Cal.com collects your name, your email address, the time you choose and your answers to its questions about your academy, and passes them to us so we can prepare for the call. Cal.com handles them under its own privacy policy as well as ours.

Why we collect it

We use early-access details to reply to you about Arenzo, to understand which academies are interested, and to send you the confirmation email you asked for. We record the request in our own customer system so the person who follows it up can see it. We do not sell this information, add you to a marketing list you did not ask for, or share it with anyone except the service providers below.

Who handles it for us

  • Hosting. The site and its waitlist database are hosted by Render Services, Inc. The waitlist database is held in Singapore.
  • Email. Confirmation and notification emails are sent through Resend, Inc.
  • Web analytics. Metricool Software, S.L., a company based in Spain, counts visits to this site as described above.
  • Demo bookings. Cal.com, Inc. runs the booking calendar and sends each booking to our customer records, which are hosted by Render in Singapore.

Each provider processes your information only to provide the service, under their own privacy terms.

How long we keep it

Early-access requests are kept until you ask us to delete them or until we no longer need them to run early access, whichever comes first. Email hello@watzaura.com to have your request removed.

Academies that use Arenzo

When an academy subscribes, we hold information about the academy and the people we deal with there: owners, managers and billing contacts. That is their names, work email addresses and phone numbers, the academy’s ABN and address, the plan it is on, its invoices and payments to us, and our emails, calls and support requests with it.

We use it to set the academy up, bill it, support it and tell it about changes to Arenzo. Subscription payments are handled by Stripe; we keep our accounts in Xero. We keep these records for as long as the academy is a customer and then for at least five years, because tax law requires it.

Arenzo

Who is responsible

Academies use Arenzo to run their bookings, memberships, coaching and athletes’ development. Each academy decides what personal information it collects about its families, athletes and staff, and why. In privacy terms the academy is responsible for that information. Watzaura handles it on the academy’s behalf, on its instructions and under a written agreement with it, and does not use it for any purpose of its own.

Every academy’s records are kept separate from every other academy’s. Staff at one academy cannot see another academy’s families, athletes or staff, and a family that trains at two academies has a separate record with each.

The academy’s own privacy policy explains what it collects and why. Elite Cricket Academy, a business related to Watzaura and the first academy to use Arenzo, publishes its policy at book.elitecricketacademy.com.au/privacy.

What Arenzo holds

Depending on what the academy uses, Arenzo can hold:

  • names, email addresses, phone numbers and addresses of parents, guardians, adult athletes and staff;
  • children’s names and dates of birth, so they are placed in the right age group;
  • emergency contacts, and medical notes a family chooses to give so coaches can keep a child safe, which we treat as sensitive information;
  • consent records, including separate, optional consents for photography and for promotional use;
  • bookings, memberships, payments, invoices and account credit;
  • coaching notes, ratings, attendance and match figures;
  • photographs and video, where the family has consented;
  • device details used to send notifications, if you allow them.

We do not collect card numbers. When you pay, your card details are entered on the payment provider’s own secure page and never reach our systems. We keep only the card brand, its expiry and the last four digits, so you can recognise a saved card.

When Watzaura staff see academy records

Our staff do not browse academy records. When an academy asks for help with a particular family or booking, a member of our support team can open a support session for that academy. A session must be approved by the academy, ends by itself (after 60 minutes, or 30 minutes if it allows changes), and everything done in it is logged. Only in an emergency affecting the security or availability of Arenzo can we act without that approval, and we tell the academy afterwards.

The Arenzo mobile app

The app shows the information above to the people entitled to see it: parents see their own family, coaches see the squads they coach. In addition:

  • Signing in. Sign-in is handled by Auth0 (Okta). Your password goes to Auth0, not to us or to the academy. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive only your basic profile from them: your name, your email address (Apple lets you hide it behind a relay address) and, from Google, a link to your profile picture.
  • Face ID and fingerprint unlock. If you turn this on, your phone checks your face or fingerprint itself. The app is only told whether the check passed. Your biometric data never leaves your device and we never receive it.
  • Notifications. If you allow notifications, the app registers a notification token for your device with us, so we can send booking confirmations, reminders and notices from your academy. You can turn notifications off in your phone’s settings at any time.
  • Payments. When you pay in the app, it opens the academy’s payment provider’s secure page. You are paying the academy, not Watzaura, and the app does not see your card details.
  • No advertising or tracking. The app has no advertising, no third-party analytics and no tracking across other apps or websites, and it does not use your device’s advertising identifier.

Who else handles Arenzo information

We use other companies to run parts of Arenzo. Each receives only what it needs for its part, and only to do it for us or for the academy. We tell academies before we add or replace any of them.

CompanyWhat they handle
RenderHosting Arenzo and its database
Auth0 (Okta)Signing in and passwords
StripeCard payments to academies (Australia), and academies’ subscriptions to Arenzo
RazorpayCard payments to academies (India)
PayPalPayments, if you choose PayPal
EzypayDirect debit, for academies that use it
CloudflareStoring photos and video

SentryAlerting us when the platform has an error
Google WorkspaceOur support mailbox, if you email us for help
AnthropicAnswering questions typed into an academy’s in-app assistant, where the academy offers one

An academy may also connect services of its own, such as a sports results service or its own advertising measurement. Its privacy policy explains those.

We do not sell Arenzo information, we do not use it to advertise to anyone, and we do not use it to train artificial intelligence models.

Information held overseas

Several of these companies process information outside Australia, including in the United States, Singapore and the European Union, and academies in India have their records handled for their Indian operations. Arenzo’s main database is held in Singapore. Your information may therefore be handled overseas, where privacy law differs from Australian law. We take reasonable steps to make sure these providers protect it in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

How long Arenzo keeps it

  • Financial records (bookings, payments, invoices and credit) are kept for at least five years, because tax law requires it. They cannot be deleted on request; when an account is deleted they are kept without the person’s name attached.
  • Coaching records are kept while the athlete is with the academy, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case they return.
  • Photos and video are kept until the family asks for them to be removed or deletes their account.
  • Everything else is erased when the account is deleted.
  • If an academy stops using Arenzo, it can export its records for 30 days. We then delete them within a further 60 days, except the financial records the law requires to be kept.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account in the Arenzo app (Account tab → Delete my account), or without the app by following our account deletion page. That page lists exactly what is erased and what has to be kept.

Children

Arenzo holds records about children, some as young as five, because academies coach children. Arenzo accounts are held by adults: a parent or guardian holds the account and gives the consents for their child. Photography and promotional-use consents are asked separately and are optional, and can be changed at any time. We never use children’s information for advertising or to build profiles of them.

Keeping it safe

Access to Arenzo information is limited to the people who need it for their role, and what each role can see is enforced by the system, not by hiding buttons. Information is encrypted in transit between your device and Arenzo. Our own staff sign in to a separate, logged management system, and see academy records only through the support sessions described above.

No system is perfect. If something happens that puts your information at serious risk, we will tell the academy straight away, and we and the academy will tell you, as the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme requires.

Your rights

You can ask what personal information is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. For Arenzo records, the academy controls the record, so contact the academy first; if you cannot reach them, contact us at hello@watzaura.com and we will pass your request to the academy and help it respond. We normally respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with the response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes

We will post changes to this policy on this page with a new effective date. If a change materially affects how we use information we already hold, we will tell the people it affects, including in the app.
